Welcome
to this the last newsletter of 2005. What a year!
To those who were involved in the panto, well done. It was a roaring
success. We even managed a small profit!!!!
There
needs to be a special thank you to the parents who helped back
stage. We would have been lost with out you.
We
have been lucky in obtaining the help of Ian who has vast experience
in stage management in other parts of the country; we are luck
he decided to move to our neck of the woods as it were.
Information time. Please note subscriptions are due at this
time £10.00 for youth section and £15.00 for adults
(no subs no Post Panto Party)
The
AGM is to be held on 12 January 2006, at 7.30pm. The Agenda
is as follows:
1.
Minutes of the last AGM
2. Chairman's report
3. Treasures report
4. Elections of new youth member, no voting rights but a liaison
between youth section and committee. We also need a new committee
member to replace Chris Newbury whos tenure as chairman ends
at this committee meeting.
5. A O B
The
Post Panto party is to be on January 21st in the Church Hall
at 7.45pm
It
was unfortunate that those of the youth section who used the
Newbury rooms during Cinderella failed to tidy them up after
the run. Consequently we had to pay to have this done! That
means that the Night Out we were going to arrange has been cancelled.
If however there is a marked improvement at the Spring Production
we are willing to reconsider.
The Adult spring production will be a Farndale. There are 9
parts, 3 male and 6 female. Auditions are to be on January 5th
and 10th. At Salterns. Look forward to seeing you there. Dave
